"I Believe in You"
This was the title of the message Pastor Mark gave today at CrossRoads Community Church. It was a great message. Too often I am critical of my wife and kids and those around me and too quick to point out the negatives. Do I tell them enough though that "I believe in you"? If I don't, I am sorry and I will work at doing a better job of being an encourager. I know that is something that I desire, to know that my family and those closest to me believe in me so, in knowing this desire of myself, I should certainly work harder at letting those closest to me know that I believe in them. Bottom line is, God believes in all of us, He wouldn't have sent his son for us if He didn't. But, we're still human, and even though I know this of my heavenly father, I still need to know it from my earthly father and those close to me. It's important to me. So, Tammy, Chelsea, Lindsey, and everyone else close to me.... I DO believe in you, am proud of you just for being you, and am so thankful for all of you in my life. "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." Ephesians 4:29 (NIV) I have a race to go get ready for now... wish me luck.
